    Why the Words

    Embodied interpretation of my poem 'Why the Words'

     

    Why the Words 

    Deep deep inside, 

    Deeper than the dream

    Deeper than the heart

    Deeper than the soul

    At the very essence of who you are

    Is a place

    From a place 

    That starts with nothing. 

    And then there is 

    A tumbled up river, or sea, ocean

    So vast and open skied 

    That has no beginning and no end. 

    And sometimes it feels like your heart, or your lungs or belly; it moves and discerns. 

    As a word emerges, unfathomable why the word

    Has popped up

    So you write it down
